Business Function

DBS’ Private Banking provides HNW/UHNW clients with bespoke advice and curated solutions to manage, grow and steward their wealth, across the breadth of their financial and corporate assets.  We do this by bringing our teams of dedicated in-house experts to support our clients in their wealth and risk management journeys.  We leverage on DBS’ strong corporate and investment banks’ platform, broad geographical locations, and our extensive and deep network of clients and partners, to support our clients in their cross-border investments and/or corporate interests.  We excel in helping UHNW families in Asia and beyond in planning, structuring and executing their legacy and multi-generational wealth transfer needs.

Responsibilities

- Grow the business through proactive acquisition and retention of HNW/ UHNW clients within the offshore Malaysia market.

- Implement geographical focused strategy in line with the overall business strategy.

- Build and develop a deep understanding of clients’ investment needs.

- Provide sound financial advice to clients working in partnership with the Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists.

- Be a strong advisor to the clients in their wealth journeys and work to continually strengthen the client relationships.

- Ensure compliance to the bank's and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience.

- Sound knowledge of private banking products and solutions as well as deep expertise of the Malaysia Market with relevant networks,

- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong client centricity.

- Team player with the ability to collaborate widely with various internal stakeholders to drive client acquisition and retention.
