About the Opportunity
Youth RISE Foundation is seeking anaspiring operations leader to join our executive leadership team as Executive Director of Operations.
This position is designed for someone who hassome professional, academic, nonprofit, administrative, or leadership experience and is ready to take the next step in their development.
You donot need to have spent ten years in executive leadership.
We are looking for someone who is curious, dependable, organized, willing to learn, and excited about building something meaningful alongside a growing organization.
The right person will have the opportunity to strengthen their skills inoperations, leadership, project management, organizational development, compliance, administration, strategic planning, and executive leadership while contributing directly to the continued growth of Youth RISE Foundation.
The Role
The Executive Director of Operations will help build and strengthen the systems that allow Youth RISE Foundation to operate effectively.
You will work closely with the President & CEO and other members of executive leadership to coordinate organizational operations, improve internal systems, support departments, manage projects, and turn organizational goals into action.
This is ahands-on growth opportunity.
You will be given meaningful responsibilities, opportunities to lead projects, and exposure to executive-level organizational management.
What You'll Do
Operations
- Help coordinate day-to-day organizational operations.
- Improve internal workflows and administrative systems.
- Help departments stay organized and accountable.
- Track organizational projects, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Identify operational problems and help develop solutions.
- Assist with creating and improving policies and procedures.
Leadership Development
- Participate in executive leadership meetings.
- Work alongside experienced organizational leaders.
- Take ownership of operational projects.
- Develop executive communication and decision-making skills.
- Gain experience managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Receive opportunities to expand your leadership responsibilities as your capabilities grow.
Organizational Development
- Help Youth RISE build scalable systems as the organization grows.
- Assist with strategic and operational planning.
- Support organizational restructuring and process improvement.
- Help establish measurable goals and performance standards.
- Participate in initiatives that improve the experience of volunteers, interns, fellows, participants, and staff.
Project Management
- Lead or support organizational projects.
- Build project timelines and implementation plans.
- Coordinate stakeholders and deadlines.
- Track progress and communicate barriers.
- Help ensure projects move from planning to completion.
Executive Support
- Support the President & CEO with operational initiatives.
- Prepare reports, updates, and recommendations.
- Help coordinate executive priorities.
- Follow up on organizational action items.
- Serve as an operational point of contact between departments when appropriate.

Volunteer Executive Appointment
This is currently avolunteer leadership appointment.
The position does not guarantee salary, wages, benefits, or other compensation. Any future compensation, stipend, reimbursement, or other financial arrangement will depend on organizational funding and must be established separately in writing and administered in accordance with applicable law.
The Foundation is committed to creating opportunities for its volunteer leaders to develop professionally while contributing meaningful work to the organization.
Time Commitment
Approximately10โ15 hours per week, with flexibility based on organizational priorities and the individual's availability.
