Position Title: Executive Director, Mt. Joy (Enhanced Program/EP and Applied Behavior Analysis/ABA Programs)
Classification: ExemptÂ
Position type: Full-time
Department:Clinical Operations
Compensation:Starting at $125,000/annually
Hours:Full-time,40 hours/week, between 7:00am-6:00pm (evening availability as needed)Â
Location:Mt. Joy, PA, with the exception of days where non-center supervision services are provided in the designated setting (e.g., home, community, school, center). Remote work is allowable up to 1 day per week with responsibility to ensure appropriate center coverage on selected remote work days.
Travel Required:Some travel for site visits and other BII centers, the Plymouth Meeting HQ, and other locations for training, meetings and company events.Â

Reporting Relationship:The Executive Director reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Services and Operations for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below and for other duties that the Senior Director of Clinical Services and Operations may assign.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Objective # 1: Maintains Oversight of Program Operations for Mt. Joy EP/ABA ProgramsÂ
- Oversees the Enhanced ABA Program (EP). The Enhanced ABA Program is designed to help clients who display high levels of self-injurious behavior, physical aggression, property destruction or other behaviors which present a significant risk to self or others and severe problematic behavior that has not responded to other treatments or other services. The program utilizes ABA-based interventions within a trauma-informed philosophy.
- Oversees the ABA programs, EIBI, CBSI, EP, etc. as developed by leadership. Develops summer camp programs with the support of leadership and provides oversight.
- Oversees the administrative and operational functions of the EP/ABA programs, includingstaffing and scheduling with consideration of billable units, center coverage, and coordination of resources.
- Organizes administrative quality control measures and supports staff in meeting organizational service standards.
- Prepares topics, maintains accurate records (e.g., agendas/notes), and runs scheduled administrative and operational meetings.
- Implements strategies to support staff in meeting and exceeding administrative and operational expectations. Strategies include providing performance feedback, training and coaching on organizational procedures, and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Works with leadership and human resources in employee selection, retention and termination proceedings for designated positions. Activities include interviewing and selecting candidates, orienting new hires, and participating in decisions relating to disciplinary action.
- Provides joint supervisions with designated clinical supervisor for BCBAs and Program Supervisor.Â
- Supports supervisions as needed and appropriate for Registered Behavior Technicians/Behavior Technicians, Lead Registered Behavior Technicians, Floaters.
- Provides administrative supervision and performance feedback for Mt. Joy staff and supports determination of corrective actions up to termination.
- Coordinates general center coverage and operational responses to staffing and facility needs.
- Provides crisis management support during sessions and general treatment center coverage.
- Functions as a Trainer when trained in Train the Trainer contexts related to administrative and operational professional development including Physical Crisis Management Curriculum (e.g., PCM/Safety Care).
- Leads annual center team goals related to professional development, operational improvement and strategic planning under the guidance of organizational leadership.
- Runs 1:1 meetings with all direct reports per the identified schedule based on role.
- Responsible for follow-up on cross-department communications requiring administrative or operational action.
- Responsible for all follow up with BCBAs/Behavior Consultants and Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians when included on emails across departments that require administrative/operational action.

Objective #2: Maintains administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served, treatment team, employees and organization as a whole. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Upholds all Behavior Interventions’ standards, policies and procedures including our equal employment opportunity, anti-harassment, anti-discrimination policies.
- Supports administrative coordination with client referrals and staffing of treatment teams
- Maintains appropriate written documentation of supervision and team meetings including discussion of clinical programming, performance goals, expectations and corrective feedback when applicable.
- Attends assigned trainings, performance meetings, monthly supervision meetings, monthly team meetings, weekly supervision meetings with the Sr Director of Clinical Services and Operations and other administrative meetings as assigned
- Operates as a mandated reporter, maintaining awareness of signs or reports of suspected abuse or neglect and reporting to the appropriate state reporting line
- Maintains knowledge of best practices in program administration, operations and personnel management through trainings, networking events, and professional development.Manages front desk support, managing phone lines during business hours,and greeting team members and guests upon arrivalÂ
- Supports the administrative and operational management of current clinical treatment center services for EP and ABA programs
- Prepares and participates in provider audits and supports with the implementation of quality improvement plans
- Leads Payor interface and communication
- Leads family conversations that address program updates/changes and parent concerns
- Provides On Call responsibilities, supporting coverage per the annual schedule as a joint responsibility across all centers compensated by a stipend.

Objective #3: Engages in professional development activities and supports the professional development of Behavior Interventions’ team members through approved supervision activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborates with team members to promote the ongoing professional development of direct reports in leadership, administrative processes and operational responsibilities
- Supports staff onboarding and training related to organizational policies, administrative systems, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education, applied behavior analysis or psychology
- Maintains clearances and any non-clinical credentials or certifications required for the position by Behavior Interventions and servicing providers
- 5 years of supervisory experience required
- 5 years experience working with adolescents with severe problem behavior
- Obtains crisis intervention certification (PCM/Safety Care) and maintains annual certification requirements. Training is scheduled through Behavior Interventions
- Willingness to travel throughout specified counties for administrative and operational site visits.
- Experience running group meetings and conducting interviews preferred
- Experience creating administrative and operational organizational systems preferred
- Experience developing administrative and operational trainings preferred
- Experience with PA insurance provider requirements preferred OR willingness to learn
- Valid form of ID
- Ability to pass federal and state background checks
- Must have reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
- Ability to move, ascend/descend, position self, transport while exerting (lift, carry, push or pull) 5-10 lbs constantly, 25 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to move quickly to remain within arm’s reach of client(s)
- Ability to meet the physical requirements to successfully complete the physical components of the crisis intervention certification and implementation of interventions during the workday:
- Ability to balance physical movementÂ
- Ability to support the weight of an individual while moving (kneeling) to the ground and a capacity to sit and kneel in various positions Â
- Ability to move from a kneeling position to standing without assistance approximately 5 times in one minuteÂ
