JOBSUMMARY
Asahighlyvisible,accessible,anddedicated memberofour serviceteam,theprimarypurposeof thispositionistosupport the RCM Team and field partnersin therevenuecycle systemswhichincludesbilling,collecting,and recordingrevenuetransactionsinthehomehealthandhospiceindustry.
DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support theaccounts receivable functions under the supervision of RC Systems Resource Lead.
- Enhance the agencies’ policies and procedures surrounding the revenue andaccounts receivable cycles.
- Assist agencies in the development and use of accounting policies and procedures andestablishrapport in and between departments so that each can realize the importance ofaccurate reporting procedures.
- Monitor internal controls toensure compliance with established procedures related to revenue and accounts receivable.
- Partner with RC Portfolio Resources with monitoring accounts receivables and developing action plans.
- ProvideExpert knowledge on software systems used in home health, hospice, and home care lines of business. Ability to train staffin software systems and processes.
- Develop andutilize software reports for AR metrics and trends.
- Monitor the workflow process within the system and alerting appropriate organizational Resources.
- Manage time equally between service center projects and field support.
- Utilizes ticketing software by routing and troubleshooting claim and EMR issues.
- Manage payor builds and updates for acquisitions, branch expansions, startups, and new contracts.
- Assist inmaintaining payor portals and access to clearing houses.
- Attend andparticipate in workshops, seminars, etc., to keep abreast of current changes in the home health andhospice field, as well as tomaintain a professional status.
- Create andmaintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
- Maintain anddemonstrate company culture and values.

JOBREQUIREMENTS(Education,Experience,Knowledge,Skills&Abilities)
StaffDevelopment:
- 2+years’experienceof accountsreceivableexperienceinHomeHealthandHospicelinesofbusiness.
- Experienceassisting,training,andsupportingbusinessofficemanageratmultiple sitesaplus.
- Experiencein thefollowingplatforms:HomecareHomebaseandWaystar.
