Event staff needed for a few events happening on campus at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Shifts are either bartenders or buffet attendants.
- Bartenders - Provide responsible beer and wine service to guests during event operations. Verify identification as needed, maintain a clean and organized bar area, monitor beverage supplies, and deliver friendly customer service. Assist with event setup and breakdown, restocking, cleaning, and other event support duties as needed to help ensure a smooth and successful event experience.
- Buffet attendants - Keep a close watch on the buffet line to ensure food items remain stocked and presentable. Monitor inventory levels, communicate replenishment needs to kitchen staff, and maintain a clean, organized serving area throughout the event. Assist with event setup and breakdown, light cleaning, and other duties as needed to support a positive guest experience.
Friday, 10/9
Bartenders - 6:30pm-11pm
Buffet Attendant - 6:00pm-11pm
Saturday, 10/10
Buffet Attendant - 10am-4pm
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in food service/customer service is highly desired.
- MUST BE 21 years of age or older to work any bartender shift.
- Dress code: black pants and black shoes required.
