Job Description & Summary

As a Senior Associate Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern frameworks. You will ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Android applications usingKotlin,Jetpack, and modern frameworks (Compose, Architecture Components).
  • Implementclean, scalable architecture patterns (MVVM, modular components).
  • Ensuresecure coding practices (EncryptedSharedPreferences, SSL pinning, certificate rotation).
  • Optimizeapp performance and memory usage using profiling tools (Android Profiler, LeakCanary).
  • Integrate APIs and handlenetworking/offline scenarios (Retrofit, gRPC, caching, WorkManager).
  • Write and maintainunit, UI, and snapshot tests; contribute to test automation strategy.
  • Participate inCI/CD workflows (Gradle, Fastlane, Azure DevOps/Jenkins).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams totranslate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Supportcode reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to reusable components.
  • Stay updated onAndroid trends and advocate for best practices.

  • Required Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of Android development experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Strong proficiency inKotlin, Android Jetpack, Compose, Coroutines/Flow.
  • Experience withdependency management (Gradle, Maven).
  • Knowledge ofnetworking, offline sync, and background tasks.
  • Familiarity withCI/CD tools and app distribution (MDM solutions like Intune/Workspace ONE).
  • Solid understanding ofsecure coding principles and app hardening techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work inagile teams.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills.
