Officer / Senior Officer, Claims (General Insurance – Motor focus)

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle Motor insurance claims from initiation to resolution
• Verify, investigate and assess validity of claims
• Liaise with customers and service providers
• Negotiate settlements with third party claimants
• Attend Small Claims Tribunal
• Answer claims hotlines and general telephone enquiries
• Provide quality service to customers in accordance with the service standards
• Assist in ad hoc projects and UAT as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related disciplines
• (non-degree holder with relevant experience will be also considered)
• Fresh graduates will be considered
• Relevant experience in general insurance industry will be definitely an advantage
• Professional insurance qualification (e.g. IIQE / ACII / ANZIIF) will be an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Good computer skills
