Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

IDEXX is seeking aSenior Financial Analyst to join ourCorporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate FP&A. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on the most complex and most visible analysis the function produces: the financial modeling behind the annual strategic plan, the analysis themes that frame the budget, and the value-added analysis that extends strategic plan and Board of Directors themes into clear answers for leadership.

The Senior Financial Analyst is also a trusted finance business partner toLegal, Finance, Corporate Strategy, and executive stakeholders, supports execution of the corporate planning cycle alongside the leader of that process, and serves as a Corporate FP&A subject matter expert for our enterprise planning platform through and beyond its transition. The role is positioned as adevelopment path toward expanded leadership of the corporate planning process over time.

Location: This role is required to be onsite8+ days per month at ourWestbrook, Maine headquarters.

In this role:

• You will build and maintain the financial models that underpin theannual strategic plan, developing scenarios, testing sensitivities, and translating assumptions into multi-year financial outcomes.
• You will develop theanalysis themes that frame the annual budget, surfacing the trade-offs, risks, and opportunities leadership needs in order to set targets and commitments.
• You will producevalue-added analysis that extends strategic plan and Board of Directors themes, turning open leadership questions into structured analysis and clear, well-supported recommendations.
• You will serve as a finance business partner toLegal, Finance, Corporate Strategy, and executive stakeholders, providing planning support, performance insight, and decision support on their key initiatives.
• You willsupport execution of the corporate planning cycle, partnering with the leader of the planning process to coordinate the calendar, templates, submissions, and consolidated deliverables across contributing finance teams.
• You will prepare and review materials for executive leadership and the Board, making sure the financial story is accurate, internally consistent, and clearly told.
• You will act as theCorporate FP&A liaison for OneStream, supporting planning and reporting processes, resolving issues, and helping colleagues across finance use the platform effectively.
• You will play a key role in theOneStream transition, contributing to design decisions, data validation, testing, parallel runs, and adoption for Corporate FP&A.
• You will identify and implement improvements to planning and reporting processes, applying system capabilities, automation, andAI-enabled tools to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and timeliness.
• You will document processes and share expertise to support cross-training across the team, strengthening business continuity and allowing responsibilities to rotate over time.
• You will complete ad hoc financial analysis and special projects in response to questions from senior leadership, delivering decision-ready output under tight timelines.
• You will take on progressively broader responsibility across the corporate planning process as you grow in the role.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master’s degree, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• Progressive experience in FP&A, including financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and management reporting in a global organization.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including multi-year planning, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience supporting strategic planning and Board-level or executive-level reporting preferred.
• Ability to move fluidly between strategic thought leadership and detailed, hands-on execution.
• Reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills to resolve complex, ambiguous issues.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tell a story to financial and non-financial audiences, including senior leadership.
• Excellent business partnering and relationship-building skills, with general business knowledge required.
• Excellent attention to detail, paired with the judgment to distinguish what matters most.
• Strong time and project management skills, with a proven record of bringing work streams through to solid completion.
• Strong work ethic and a clear sense of ownership for the work and deliverables.
• Continuous improvement mindset, a thirst to understand the why and how rather than just the what, and a willingness to question the status quo.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of automation and AI capabilities and their application to finance processes preferred.
