POSITIONSUMMARY 

The Senior Maintenance Technicianprovidesexpertise for equipment installation, start-up and maintenance of plant equipment.  

2nd shift is Monday-Thursday 4:00p-2:30a; Occasional day time OT on Fridays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES 

Additional duties and responsibilities may beassigned, as necessary.   

1.    Preventative Maintenance (40%) 

• Perform routine tasks such as greasing bearings, changing belts, changing oil, performing inspections, cleaning equipment,etc tomaintain equipment reliability. 

• Support production workers during routine preventative maintenanceactivities; (TPM).  

• Identify key preventative tasks andimplement them into company CMMS, to increase machine reliability. 

• Optimize machine cycle timesto maximize machine output. 

 Equipment Repair (25%) 

• Install,repair andmaintain machinery and mechanical equipment. 

• Dismantle machineryto remove or replace defective parts.  

• Optimize use of maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies needed to repair equipment to OEM standards.  

• Repair facility and building items as needed. 

Equipment Troubleshooting (25%) 

• Identify complex electrical,mechanical and pneumatic problems onproduction machinery and facility equipment.   

• Locates sources of problems byobserving machinery in operation. 

• Utilize tools to isolate malfunctioning equipment (ex. Multimeter, tachometer,calipers, etc.). 

• Maximize machine output byoptimizing machine cycle times. 

 Administrative (10%) 

• Log all work performed into the Company CMMS. 

• Complete end of shift reports communicating between maintenance and production departments.  

• Order replacement parts for stock or parts for repair. 

• Work with other departments to schedule downtime for repairs.   

• Performing housekeeping, making sureareais clean at all times. 

REQUIREDSKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent  

• Associates Degree in related field or Technical Certificate highly desired.   

• 5+years experiencemaintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.   

Specialized Skills and Experience:  

• Good computer skills including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) 

• Good English language skills both verbal and written (Spanish speaking a plus) 

Travel Requirement:   

• Occasional travelas required.    

Physical Requirements:  

• Must pass pre-employmentphysical.  

• Lift:   Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds.  

• Push/Pull: Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds.  

• Stand: Must be able to stand 80% - 85% of the day.  

• Sitting: Must be able to sit 25% of the day.  

• Twisting/Bending: Must be able to twist/bend 75% of the day.   

• Squatting,Climbing and/or Crawling: Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 25% of the day.  

• Able to work on heights, climb several flights of stairs (over 5 stories) daily if required.
