Howyou’ll make an impact 

As astudent employee inHumanResources (HR),you'll gain hands-on experience supporting a variety of HR activities while developing a foundational understanding ofhowHRfunctions across FCC.You'll work closely with HR professionals,employees and leaders, contributing to processes that support the employee experience from hire to departure. 

You'll be part of the team that delivers HR services and support across the organization. Working alongside HR Partners and other HR team members,you'll help ensure employees and leaders receiveaccurate,timely and professional support while learning how HR programs and processes contribute to organizational success.

Whatyou'll do 

  • Support HR processes and activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employeechanges and offboarding 

  • Work closely with HR Partners and other HR team members to provide administrative and operational support 

  • Respond to employee and leader inquiries and help connect them with theappropriate HR resources and information 

  • Assist withmaintaining employee records, documentation and HR systems while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy 

  • Support HR projects,reporting and process improvement initiatives 

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence andassist with the administration of HR programs and activities 

  • Contribute to a positive employee experience through excellent customer service andtimely support 

  • Assist with workforce planning and talent-related activities asrequired 

Whatyou’ll bring to the team 

Required qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled ina bachelor's degree or diploma program inbusinessadministration,commerce,humanresources or a related field 

  • Strong interest in Human Resources and employee experience 

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Demonstrated ability tomaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel,Outlook and PowerPoint 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, HR support or office environments through work,volunteer or academic experiences 

  • Knowledge of Human Resources principles, practices or employee lifecycle processes gained through coursework or practical experience 

  • Experience working with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
