IT Service Lead Backup Management On-Prem & Cloud (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• You takeend-to-end ownership of global backup services (on-prem, Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID) and drive their strategic development

• Across hybrid IT environments, you design and implement modern backup architectures

• Including monitoring and incident handling, you ensure stable, secure, and highly available backup and restore operations

• You actively strengthen cyber resilience (e.g., immutability, encryption, recovery strategies)

• Besides planning and executing disaster recovery tests, you ensure fast recovery of business-critical systems

• You collaborate closely with global stakeholders, IT security, architecture, and cloud teams

• You manage vendors, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance and audit readiness

Qualifications:

• Profound experience inenterprise IT infrastructure with a focus onbackup andrecovery

• Strong expertise inCommvault andVeeam in enterprise environments -Certification preferred.

• Experience withBackup for Azure, cloud services, and Microsoft 365 / Entra ID

• Solid knowledge of file system management (on-prem & cloud) and data availability

• Strong understanding of cyber security, ransomware protection, and compliance requirements

• Structured, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership

• Strong English communication skills, and experience working in global stakeholder environments
