PAID POSITION!

EngLinks Personal Tutors work in one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to provide support for coursework and help individuals excel in their academics. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, creative problem solving, and a passion for teaching. Personal tutors will be matched with students based on needs of students and expertise of the tutor. Responsibilities of personal tutors include:

• Reviewing curriculum and topics with students
• Assisting with homework, test preparation, resource collection, and other academic tasks
• Working with students with ranging backgrounds and adapting teaching methods to help them understand key concepts
• Arranging meeting times and locations with their students 

Pay rate for personal tutors is $20/hour, all payment is coordinated by tutors and students. This application is open year round and tutors will be hired on a rolling basis., applications may be processed later than submitted.
