Join Our Team as an Attorney at Axiom

We are seeking anAsset Finance & Leasing Counsel to join ourFinancial Services team. In this role, you will provide legal support to clients on a broad range ofasset finance, equipment leasing, and secured financing transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiateequipment finance agreements, lease agreements, and related asset finance documentation.
• Advise clients onequipment financing structures, including secured lending, leasing arrangements, and asset-based financing transactions.
• Support the structuring and documentation ofcommercial equipment finance transactions across various industries, including industrial and manufacturing sectors.
• Provide legal guidance oncredit risk, collateral structures, and security interests related to equipment and other financed assets.
• Work closely withcredit, underwriting, operations, and business teams to support equipment finance programs and transactional execution.
• Review and negotiatevendor, dealer, and financing program agreements related to equipment finance platforms.
• Advise onregulatory and compliance considerations applicable to asset finance and leasing activities.
• Assist withportfolio management issues, restructurings, amendments, and workout matters involving financed equipment and leased assets.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in asset finance, equipment leasing, or secured lending transactions.
• Demonstrated experience working onequipment financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating related agreements.
• Strong knowledge ofsecured financing structures, collateral documentation, and asset-based lending frameworks.
• Experience supportingcommercial finance transactions involving industrial or capital equipment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally withcredit, business, and operational stakeholders.
• Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice law in New York.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience advisingindustrial companies, equipment manufacturers, or equipment finance providers.
• Familiarity withvendor finance programs, dealer financing arrangements, and equipment leasing platforms.
• Experience supportinglarge equipment portfolios or structured asset finance transactions.
• Background working withfinancial institutions, leasing companies, or captive finance organizations.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.  Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
