- Assist in configuring and testing quality measure logic within Epic to ensure accurate gap identification and closure tracking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues related to Star measure workflows, registries, and reporting discrepancies.
Reporting & Data Validation
- Build and maintain reports using Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, and SlicerDicer to track Star Ratings performance and care gap closure rates.
- Validate quality measure data for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies between Epic data and quality reporting outputs.
- Support monthly/quarterly Star Ratings reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to Quality and Population Health teams.
Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of contact for clinical and quality staff with questions about Star measure workflows or documentation within Epic.
- Partner with Quality, Population Health, and ACO teams to gather requirements and communicate build updates or limitations.
- Participate in testing and validation sessions with end users prior to release of new builds or measure updates.
Documentation & Change Management
- Maintain clear documentation of build configurations, workflows, and measure logic for audit and knowledge-continuity purposes.
- Support change control processes, including testing and validating updates tied to annual HEDIS/CMS specification changes.
- Track and manage assigned work items using agile tools (e.g., Rally), ensuring user stories are current and accurately reflect status for release planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Epic Certified in Healthy Planet, Reporting or related modules.
- 2+ years of experience working with Epic, ideally within Healthy Planet, Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, or SlicerDicer.
- Familiarity with Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS, and/or NCQA quality measure concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data validation and measure logic testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and clinical stakeholders.

- Experience in a health plan, ACO, or population health environment.
- Familiarity with agile delivery tools (e.g., Rally) for tracking build and release work.
- Basic understanding of FHIR/HL7 interoperability concepts.
