Sales and Application Specialist
Carl Zeiss BeNeLux is looking for an Sales and Application Specialist to sell and to provide product advice, training, and application support for its ZEISS Vitreoretinal product portfolio. You will represent ZEISS at our clients in Wallonia and Luxembourgish hospitals and private clinics. You will work in various locations, and every day will be different. You will collaborate closely with other colleagues, account managers and field service engineers within our Benelux structure. You will report directly to the Sales Manager Medical technology.
The key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
Manage the complete sales journey with all stakeholders in the accounts in your region with the aim to:
Close deals successfully in order to achieve the sales and margin targets
Provide accurate business forecasts for your region Â
Providing product and application support for ZEISS Vitreoretinal products.
Delivering presentations, training sessions at client sites, and product demonstrations during conferences, workshops or at ZEISS demo facilities.
Assisting in finding the right solutions for customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Supporting the sales team, collaborating with marketing colleagues and working with our Field Service Engineers to provide solutions for clients in case of malfunctions or repairs.
Remaining up-to-date with the latest market trends and communicating these to other colleagues (Product Management, R&D) at ZEISS headquarters Germany.
Required knowledge & experience
You hold a bachelor’s degree in a commercial, technical, biomedical or product-related field, or have equivalent experience.
You have a background in ophthalmology, for example as an operating room assistant, biomedical engineer, or in a similar role within the medical device industry.
You have experience providing training and working in an operating room environment.
You are a proactive and customer-focused professional who enjoys working independently and translating customer needs into effective solutions.
You are well-organized, able to manage responsibilities, and remain calm and effective under pressure.
You are fluent in French and have a good command of English.
You hold a valid driver's license (B) and are willing to travel frequently to customer sites across the region.
You preferably reside in the Wallonia region.
