Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
Support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, long-range planning, and related financial reporting processes.Â
Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and standard cost; identify key financial, operational, and manufacturing cost variances.Â
Perform cost analysis related to production, material usage, labor, overhead, purchase price variance (PPV), inventory adjustments, and other cost drivers.Â
Support standard costing activities, including review ofbills of material,routings, labor and overhead rates, cost rolls, and product cost updates.Â
Prepare monthly reporting packages, financial models, dashboards, business performance presentations, and ad hoc analyses.Â
Support P&L, margin, product profitability, cost center, operating expense, inventory, and costof goods sold analysis.Â
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, inventory valuation, and review of financial results.Â
Partner with Finance, Operations, Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve financial visibility, investigate variances, and support corrective actions.Â
Provide financial and cost insights to support margin improvement, cost reduction, productivity, inventory accuracy, cash flow, and profitability initiatives.Â
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support business needs.Â
MinimumQualificationsÂ
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Â
Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, and communication skills.Â
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial reporting, planning, ERP, or business intelligence tools preferred.Â
Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, variance analysis, cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, and COGS analysis.Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Experience ina manufacturing, operations,plant finance,or corporate finance environment is preferred. Familiarity withSAP, Microsoft Dynamics GP, OneStream, Power BI, or similarERP, planning, reporting, costing, or visualization toolsis a plus.Â
Experience analyzing production costs, standard cost variances, PPV, labor and overhead absorption, inventory valuation, and product profitability.Â
Understanding of manufacturing processes, bills of material, routings, work orders, cost centers, and operational cost drivers.Â
Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and translate financial data into actionable business insights.Â
