About the Internship

As a Medicine Intern, you'll work closely with our Internal Medicine clinicians and experienced nursing team while collaborating with experts across other disciplines.

This hands-on, immersive role includes:

• Consultations and client communication
• Inpatient care and case management
• Diagnostic procedures and advanced imaging
• Daily hospital rounds
• Weekly journal clubs and case presentations

You will be encouraged and supported to work towards ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine Membership during the internship.

What We're Looking For

You are a motivated, professional and enthusiastic veterinarian who:

• Is eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria
• Holds a current radiation licence
• Has strong communication skills and a solid medical knowledge base
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to learning
• Has clinical experience (desirable but not essential)
• Full working rights in Australia, we are unable to sponsor for this position

Prior completion of ANZCVS Membership examinations is encouraged but not essential.

Internship Details

• Start date: Mid-January 2027
• Duration: 12 months
