As aStaff Design Engineer in the Non-Volatile Memory Core Functional Group, you will design and optimize critical Flash memory circuits such asrow/column drivers, sense amplifiers, and associated core circuitry, with focus onperformance, power, area, timing, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ownblock and subsystem-level circuit design, optimization, verification, and layout supervision.
• Optimize designs frombase-cell to full-chip level using HSPICE, FastSPICE, NC-Verilog, and related tools.
• Collaborate withLogic/RTL teams to define array functionality and develop efficientAnalog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) architectures combining custom circuits and digital techniques.
• Work withTechnology and project teams on array waveforms, circuit integration, and full-chip floorplanning.
• Usescripting, automation, and AI/Agentic AI technologies to accelerate design, simulation, validation, and engineering productivity.
• Develop and maintainMicro-Architecture Specifications (MAS) and required design documentation, including ISO 26262 compliance where applicable.
• Provide technical guidance andmentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• MS/PhD with 2–6 years orBS with 6–10 years of relevant semiconductor experience.
• Strong knowledge ofanalog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design, CMOS device physics, Flash/NAND architecture, and reliability.
• Experience withcustom circuit design and simulation tools such as HSPICE, FastSPICE, and NC-Verilog.
• Understanding ofcomputer architecture, storage devices, and NAND memory systems.
• Experience withLinux/UNIX and scripting/automation.
• Ability to develop solutions spanningcustom circuit and RTL/AMS design.
• Exposure toAI-enabled and Agentic AI technologies for engineering/design applications.
• Strongproblem-solving, collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
