Join our Worldwide Retail Grocery Delivery (WWRGD) Procurement team as an Equipment Buyer (internally known as Equipment Procurement Manager) and help us revolutionize how we standardize, and optimize Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) across WWRGD!

Are you passionate about supplier partnerships and procurement excellence? Do you thrive on simplifying complex processes and standardizing solutions across multiple business lines? As an Equipment Procurement Manager on our team, you'll be the single-threaded owner for FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) procurement. You'll leverage data analytics to identify optimization opportunities, lead cross-functional sourcing events, and collaborate with teams across Worldwide Retail Grocery and Development Team to aggregate demand and achieve enterprise-level buying leverage. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence procurement strategy, build strong supplier relationships, and implement innovative cost reduction initiatives that directly impact our growing retail footprint. If you're ready to challenge the status quo, think creatively about procurement solutions, and make a measurable difference in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment we want to hear from you!

Key job responsibilities
- Own It End to End: Own FF&E procurement for multiple new store projects at once, from planning and quotes through purchase order, delivery, installation and closeout.
- Build Your System: Create your own trackers, checklists and checkpoints so you can stay ahead of every project while following team standards.
- Operate With Urgency: Spot what could slip, such as long-lead items, supplier delays or design changes, and act before it becomes a problem. Don’t wait for someone to chase you.
- Close the Loop, Every Time: Track open items across internal teams and suppliers. State the issue and the plan clearly, then follow up until each item is confirmed resolved.
- Wear Many Hats: Shift between execution, coordination and problem-solving in the same day. Understand how each piece connects to a successful store opening.
- Manage Suppliers: Manage quotes, pricing, lead times, freight, warranties and delivery requirements. Build supplier partnerships that hold up under pressure.
- Partner to Improve the Process: Work with Design, Construction, Project Management, Operations, Strategic Sourcing and suppliers. Give and receive honest feedback that makes the process, and everyone’s work, better over time.
- Think Analytically: Ask the right questions, connect information across people and systems, and use data to find risks, trends and savings opportunities.
- Raise the Bar: Serve as a resource for other buyers and project partners. Share what works, and keep evolving how you and the team operate.

A day in the life
You might start on an Owner, Architect, Contractor "OAC" call lining up equipment timelines with construction. Next you might update your tracker and notice a delivery at risk three weeks out, then call the supplier to secure a new date before it affects the opening. After that, you could follow up on open items with Design and Finance until each one is closed, and review a quote with a newer buyer. You might end the day thinking about what you’d change in your own process next time. You’ll be organized, persistent and always looking ahead.
