Salary: $100,000–$117,000/year; Based on qualifications, education, skills, and experience
Location: Glenville, NY (On-site)
Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, maintenance, or facilities management experience required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
Technical Skills: Experience with capital equipment projects, industrial equipment, automation, and preventive maintenance required
Our client is seeking an experiencedEquipment and Facilities Manager to lead equipment reliability, engineering projects, and facility improvement initiatives at its facility nearGlenville, NY. This role will lead a technical team while overseeing the performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing or equipment engineering professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, developing teams, and leading projects from concept through implementation.
Responsibilities of the Equipment and Facilities Manager will include:
- Lead, coach, and develop team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Oversee themaintenance, reliability, and performance of manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and managepreventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Plan, procure, install, and commissionnew manufacturing equipment.
- Lead equipment design, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managecapital equipment andfacility improvement projects, including budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate facility infrastructure maintenanceand improvement activities.
- Manage relationships with equipment vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensurecompliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams tosupport operational and strategic objectives.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, maintenance, or facilities management required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience managingcapital equipment projects and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, automation, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency withCAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Knowledge ofPLCs, industrial automation, and machine controls.
- Ability tointerpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
