As the HSE & Facilities Specialist, you will be responsible for:Ā 


  • Providing day-to-day HSE support for local site personnel – including resolving HSE observations, analyzing data and trends, and supporting manufacturing operations and projects as the SME on core HSE topicsĀ 
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal HSE policies and standards.Ā 
  • Leading incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence.Ā 
  • Supporting audits, inspections, and performance reviews for the siteĀ 
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnelĀ 
  • Support emergency preparedness programs, drills, and response planning activitiesĀ

Fuel your passion - to be successful in this role, you will:Ā 

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, Engineering, Sciences, or a related fieldĀ 
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment, with experience supporting manufacturing operations and /or assembly maintenance-based teamsĀ 
  • Possess working knowledge of HSE management systems and industry standards, and Strong knowledge of Mexican NOMs and STPS/DC-3 documented trainingĀ 
  • Have experience managing HSE programs, compliance initiatives, and risk management activitiesĀ 
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide operational leaders.Ā 
  • Be fluent in Spanish and have an intermediate to advance English levelĀ

Desired CharacteristicsĀ 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.Ā 
  • Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with coordination of simultaneous continuous improvement projectsĀ 
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills with preferred experience conducting HAZID/HAZOP studies, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and developing Risk Management PlansĀ 
  • Ability to interface with STPS inspectors and manage compliance documentationĀ 
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across varied operational environments.Ā 
  • Have relevant knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems; Internal Auditor qualification is considered an advantage.Ā
