Pay Rate: $35.00 – $45.00 per hr/ Salary Target: $72,800 – $93,600

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a hands-on EHS Coordinator to own workplace safety at their Utah County site. You'll shape and run the safety program, tailoring it to regulatory requirements and to the real hazards people face on the job. A big part of the role is education: getting employees trained, keeping standards visible, and stepping in when practices slip. When an incident happens, you'll be the one investigating it, writing it up, and putting measures in place so it doesn't repeat.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day safety initiatives that keep injuries down and keep safety top of mind for every team
• Track OSHA requirements along with state and local rules, and make sure site practices stay in line with them
• Build and refresh training content, then deliver it to employees on safe work practices and hazard prevention
• Walk the site to identify and evaluate risks, and share findings with leadership
• Help introduce and roll out new safety policies and procedures
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to find the underlying cause and recommend fixes

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years in a safety or EHS role managing risk and safety programs
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and relevant state and local requirements
• Comfortable around the equipment, machinery, and tools found in an industrial or production setting
• Experience developing and delivering safety training

Preferred / Desired Experience

• OSHA Safety and Health Fundamentals Certificate (or progress toward it)
