SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer

Role Summary 

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP solutions that align with business requirements. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate complex business processes into robust, scalable technical solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. 

Primary Responsibilities 

• Understand functional specifications in sufficient detail to undertake technical development and implement SAP solutions that meet business requirements. 

• Work closely with project stakeholders to gather and analyze business processes and translate them into SAP custom developments. 

• Interpret technical specifications, perform coding, testing, and debugging of SAP applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. 

• Integrate SAP modules with other systems to ensure seamless data flow and end-to-end functionality across the landscape. 

• Provide support during testing phases (unit testing, SIT, UAT) and assist with user training and knowledge transfer. 

• Ensure all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adaptable to future business needs and system upgrades. 

• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques. 

• Produce and maintain technical design documentation aligned with project delivery standards.

.• 3-8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience across full project life cycles. 

• Proven experience in S/4HANA development environments and ABAP on HANA. 

• Strong proficiency in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori integration. 

• Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks including BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, and Enhancements. 

• Solid understanding of IDocs, interfaces, and cross-system integration patterns. 

• Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical design documents and conduct structured code reviews. 

• Experience collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders in Agile/Waterfall project environments.
