Entry Level Manufacturing Associate

Proudly operating for 70 years from the same location in Detroit, Michigan, Milton Manufacturing provides metal and fabric solutions to the defense, automotive, aerospace and heavy truck industries.

Position:Utility

Shift:Day Shift

Pay:Starts at $15/hr.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Grinding, break-out, beveling.

• Deburring/tumbling.

• General housekeeping.

• Operate Machines.

• Assist other classifications/departments as needed.

• General assembly.

• Packaging

• Sorting/Organizing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good Attendance.

• Related experience or vocational training.

• Hand to eye coordination.

• Technical capacity.

• Willingness to support other departments.

• Team oriented.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, in excess of 8 hours.

Lift and/or carry at least 50 pounds.

Frequent walking, reaching with hands and arms; stooping, bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling.

Ability to tolerate moderate to high noise level.
