VP, Cross asset sales, Global Financial markets

Role:

• Drive institutional revenue via cross-asset derivative solutions and flow trading with a portfolio of hedge fund clients
• Deepen wallet share with tier-1 multi-strategy and macro hedge funds and onboard new hedge funds for the bank
• Engage and expand markets trading with Hedge fund clients across flow and structured solutions
• Originate and execute financing solutions including Repos, Total return swaps, Collateral swaps etc
• Assist traders to put out trading axes to hedge fund clients, and regularly share market colour and generate trade ideas 
• Work with product team and other stakeholders to build the infrastructure and product suite to expand engagment with hedge funds

Requirements

• Well-established network of hedge fund contacts alongside technical knowledge of derivatives and securities financing
• 5–10 years of experience within a major bank, on a institutional sales desk covering hedge funds
• Strong track record of engaging and onboarding new global macro and multi-strategy hedge funds.
• Strong understanding in financial markets dynamics, in either FICC or equities space, and ability to communicate it to the portfolio managers
• Ability to handle flow trading volumes, with attention to detail in trade execution under time sensitive windows
• Ability to understand requirements of top tier hedge funds and communicate them to various stakeholders within the bank in a concise manner
