- Configure and extend data models, including APM, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Common Service Data Model (CSDM), along with workflows, forms, and governance pipelines.
- Develop scripts using Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes, and automate tasks through Flow Designer.
- Build integrations with external systems using REST APIs and IntegrationHub to enable seamless data exchange and process automation.
- Create dashboards and performance analytics to monitor application portfolios, lifecycle status, compliance, and risk indicators.
- Support governance processes, including application onboarding workflows, Architecture Review Board (ARB) reviews, stage-gated approvals, and application inventory maintenance.
- Contribute to application rationalisation, lifecycle tracking, standards compliance, and audit preparation initiatives.
- Identify automation opportunities using ServiceNow and Microsoft Power Platform technologies to improve governance processes.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot and ServiceNow AI capabilities to analyse structured datasets, summarise findings, and recommend workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Maintain technical documentation, reporting artefacts, and data definitions required for governance, compliance, and audit purposes.
- Participate in governance meetings and support continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience delivering end-to-end ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments, particularly in Application Portfolio Management or technology governance.
- Strong experience configuring ServiceNow APM modules, CMDB structures, CSDM extensions, and custom workflows.
- Advanced JavaScript scripting skills, with familiarity with SQL or similar scripting languages considered beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience developing dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics or equivalent reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of platform governance principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices in regulated environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including enterprise architecture, development, risk management, and operations.
- Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities using Flow Designer or Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Strong technical documentation skills, including technical specifications, reporting artefacts, and data definitions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining data accuracy and governance standards.
Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and governance frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, and CSDM.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and ServiceNow AI capabilities for data analysis, insight generation, and workflow optimisation.
- Experience supporting application rationalisation, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness initiatives.
