Our client, a top-tier management consulting company, is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a leading Propane Distribution organization.
The ideal candidate would be an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, and system integration across hybrid environments. This role requires strategic vision, hands-on technical depth, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals in the energy and utilities domain.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Lead theenterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT initiatives.
· Overseearchitecture governance, standards, and decision-making for all technology programs.
· Design and implementhybrid cloud solutions (Azure and AWS) integrating on-prem systems.
· Drivedigital transformation and modernization of legacy systems using containerization, microservices, and API-first principles.
· Manageintegration across SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Ariba, Right Angle, and Ortec, ensuring seamless data and process flow.
· Develop and executemiddleware strategies leveragingSAP BTP and SAP PI/PO for enterprise integration.
· Ensurearchitecture compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards within the energy/distribution domain.
· Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business goals into actionable architecture blueprints.
· Partner with IT and business teams to balance innovation, performance, and cost efficiency.
· EstablishKPIs and metrics to measure architecture maturity, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals.
· Providetechnical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional technology teams.
· Championcloud migration initiatives, optimizing performance, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
· Leadarchitecture review boards and governance forums, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
·10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
·5+ years in a senior architecture leadership capacity withinenergy, utilities, or distribution industries.
· Proven expertise inSAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP) andMicrosoft Dynamics CRM architecture.
· Hands-on experience withSAP BTP, PI/PO, andmiddleware integration platforms.
· Strong background inAzure and AWS cloud architecture, hybrid models, and migration strategy.
· Experience withsupply chain and logistics platforms such asRight Angle andOrtec.
· Deep understanding ofenterprise integration patterns, API management, and security best practices.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
