About Yardstik
For decades, legacy background screening providers have raised prices on outdated technology while delivering sub-par support to match. Customers deserve better.
So, we started Yardstik.
Yardstik is building the Human Trust Platform, technology that helps organizations continuously verify identity, credentials, and risk before and after hire. In a world where AI has made it easier than ever to fake identities, forge credentials, and exploit hiring systems, point-in-time background checks no longer cut it.
Our approach focuses on transparent partnerships and transformative technology. We help customers run fewer unnecessary checks while saving time, money, and their sanity.
And it’s working. In August 2026 we closed a $30M Series B led by Harbert Growth Partners, bringing total capital raised to $65M. We’ve grown revenue 149% year over year and kept a 98% account-retention rate over the past three years. Founded in 2020 in Minneapolis, Yardstik has been named a Best Place to Work every year since launch.
The role
As an Enterprise AE, you’ll own the full sales cycle with large, complex organizations: high-volume hirers, multi-location employers, and companies managing large contractor and licensed workforces. You’ll sell a category shift, from one-time background checks to continuous workforce trust. That means leading consultative conversations with HR, Talent Acquisition, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Security leaders and guiding deals through procurement, security review, and compliance.
What you’ll do
- Prospect, open, and close new enterprise logos.
- Run complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with several stakeholders, from discovery through contract negotiation.
- Build business cases that tie Yardstik’s platform to measurable outcomes like fraud reduction, time-to-hire, compliance risk, and total screening cost.
- Partner with Solutions, Product, and Customer Success on tailored demos, integrations, and seamless handoffs.
- Navigate security reviews and compliance questionnaires (SOC 2, FCRA considerations) alongside our internal experts.
- Keep a clean pipeline and accurate forecast in Salesforce.
- Bring market feedback back to Product and Marketing to sharpen our enterprise motion.
What you bring
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience, with at least 2–3 years selling to enterprise accounts.
- A track record of hitting or beating quota on complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Experience selling to HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, or Risk/Compliance buyers.
- Comfort leading through procurement, legal, and security review.
- The ability to sell a new way of doing things, not just replace an incumbent.
- Self-direction and comfort in a fast-scaling environment where you’ll help shape the playbook.
Compensation & benefits
- Base Salary Range: $120K - $150K
- Equity
- Hybrid work environment with access to our Minneapolis office
- Medical, dental, and voluntary benefits
- Unlimited PTO
- 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 6 weeks for non-birthing parents
