Job Description 

Personal Support Worker (PSW)

This positionis for our 242-bed Long-Term Care Home, Laurier Manor,locatedinOttawa,Ontarioon 1715 Montreal Rd. 

Available opportunitiesinclude:5Permanent Part-Time positions (Guaranteed 30 hours bi-weekly);Evening shifts  

Shifts defined: Evening shift (14:30-22:30)

Whatyou’ll be doing 

• Assist residents withmobility, feeding, bathing,toileting andpersonalgrooming 

• Encourageresidentparticipation in activitiesand programs   

• Provide emotional and social support to residents andfamilies 

What you bring 

• PSW certification 

• Able to perform physical tasks and duties, includingfrequent bending,reaching and lifting 

• Compassion, professionalism, and respect  

• Ability to read,writeand communicate effectivelyin English
