📍 What we are looking for

We are seeking a Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineer to join our Asset Management practice in Salta, Argentina.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to supervise electromechanical assembly, piping, and maintenance contractors on-site for our client located in Puna, Salta, under a 5x2 roster schedule.

Following the completion of the site assignment, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in Asset Management and Reliability projects supporting local and North American clients.

👨‍💻 Principal Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electromechanical, piping, and maintenance contractors during field execution activities.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Support plant maintenance shutdowns (Turnarounds) and project execution activities.
• Work collaboratively with client and contractor teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Contribute to maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and project updates.
• Maintain a collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

🎯 Must Have Skills

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial environments such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or related process industries.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following roles:

      + Maintenance Supervisor

      + Maintenance Planner

      + Maintenance Coordinator

      + Electromechanical Project Supervisor

• Experience leading contractors, maintenance crews, or field teams.
• Previous participation in plant shutdowns (Turnarounds), maintenance campaigns, or major maintenance projects.
• Experience developing or implementing maintenance and reliability strategies.
• Intermediate to Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and P&IDs.

🚀 Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of Asset Management methodologies.

Experience with:

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Asset Strategy development
• Experience working with EAM systems such as SAP PM or IBM Maximo.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance and reliability best practices.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Lean Maintenance.
• Previous experience in consulting environments or multi-client projects.
• CMRP or CRL certifications.

This position is based inSalta, with on-site assignment at Puna, Salta. We have offices in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mar del Plata, Rosario, Salta, and Mendoza. If you are based in other provinces, many of our positions are remote, so you can work from home.
