Job Summary

Job Description

Skill Set -

Functional testing of web-based applications, API Testing, Test Automation (Playwright), BDD/Gherkin based test design, Java/Python/Typescript (Playwright), STLC and Manual Testing Fundamentals, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Developing automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring high coverage and scalability
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align automated testing strategies with business goals, understanding requirements from software development and quality assurance
• Creating and executing automated tests using various programming languages and tools, focusing on defect detection and adherence to coding standards
• Analyzing test results, diagnosing and repairing broken test cases, and documenting defects to enhance product quality and reliability
• Providing technical leadership and consultation on best practices and procedures, serving as a mentor for junior-level engineers
• Reviewing peer automation scripts and front-end codebases, ensuring code quality and providing constructive feedback
• Repairing simple bugs within production code and performing code reviews to contribute to the stability and quality of software releases
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, staying informed on industry trends, and contributing to the development of automation best practices
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
