Position Overview

Seeking anEngineering Software Specialist to support development and integration ofvehicle electronic and embedded systems. This role focuses onOS/BSP development, embedded software, and hardware/software integration forground combat vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrateembedded software and firmware
• SupportOS/BSP development (Linux, VxWorks, RTOS)
• Performsoftware requirements analysis, design, and coding
• Conductunit, functional, and integration testing
• Debug and troubleshoot acrossmultiple test phases
• Developsoftware releases and configuration management
• Supporthardware/software integration and system validation
• Participate inAgile/Scrum development processes
• Collaborate withSystems Engineering, QA, and Program teams

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5–7+ years of relevant experience

Key Skills

• Programming:C, C++, C#, Java, Python
• Embedded systems & BSP development
• OS experience:Linux, VxWorks, RTOS, virtualization
• Tools:Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse, GCC, GDB
• Experience withYocto or Linux build systems
• Knowledge ofnetwork & serial protocols (CAN, TCP/IP, UDP, RS-232/422)

Preferred Experience

• Linux device drivers, bootloaders, memory maps
• Hypervisors (Type I/II)
• Secure systems (SELinux, secure boot, encryption)
• Vehicle network architectures (GCIA, MOSA, SOSA, FACE)
• Experience withground combat vehicles

Additional Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain aU.S. security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to work onsite100%
• Ability to work aroundmilitary vehicles (ASR requirements may apply)
• Occasionalovertime as needed
