About The Job:
- We are seeking a Data Engineer to join the Digital Frameworks team within Analytics & AI Services.
- The role focuses on building and supporting scalable data platforms, pipelines, and frameworks that enable AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics solutions.
- The successful candidate will work with modern cloud-based data technologies including BigQuery, Kafka, and enterprise data ecosystems.
- You will collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, application teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- The role requires strong data engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a passion for data-driven innovation.
- Candidates should have experience handling large-scale datasets and supporting AI/ML workloads.
- This is an offshore opportunity supporting strategic digital transformation initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
- Implement and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using modern data engineering practices.
- Develop and support streaming data solutions using Kafka and related messaging technologies.
- Build and manage data models, datasets, and data repositories within BigQuery or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with AI and Machine Learning teams to prepare and deliver high quality data for model development and deployment.
- Monitor data quality, performance, reliability, and security across data platforms and services.
- Create technical documentation, support troubleshooting activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Skill Requirement
- Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, data warehousing technologies, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of Kafka and real-time data streaming architectures.
- Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning data requirements, feature engineering concepts, and model support processes.
- Experience with SQL and data transformation techniques for handling large scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Exposure to Python, analytics workflows, and modern data engineering tools is highly desirable.
