Job Description:
The Engineering Development Site Coordinator will provide coordination services supporting the transition, startup, operational readiness, and ongoing technical operations support activities associated with the Southlake Engineering Development Center. During the initial phase of the assignment, services provided will focus on equipment relocation, equipment installation, facility readiness projects, infrastructure implementation efforts, inventory establishment, material handling activities, and coordination of contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers supporting the transition to Southlake.
As the Southlake facility becomes operational, the scope of the assignment will transition toward ongoing technical operations support activities that enable engineering development, prototyping, equipment evaluation, and capability-building efforts conducted within the facility. These services will include coordination of equipment logistics, inventory and asset tracking, material receiving and movement, facility organization and housekeeping activities, equipment documentation support, and support of safety and environmental compliance activities.
The role will facilitate coordination among engineering teams, facilities personnel, contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers to support the execution of planned projects, installations, and operational activities. The assignment may also provide technical documentation support, including maintenance of engineering drawing packages, document retention activities, and support of records maintained within AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Vault, or similar engineering documentation systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical operations background and be comfortable working within industrial, manufacturing, pilot, engineering development, or research environments while supporting multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
This assignment will support transition, relocation, readiness, startup, and ongoing technical operations activities associated with the Southlake Engineering Development Center. Services provided through this assignment include coordination of equipment relocation and installation activities, facility readiness efforts, infrastructure implementation support, material handling, inventory and asset tracking, contractor coordination, engineering documentation support, and safety and environmental compliance support activities. The assignment is expected to evolve from an initial focus on facility transition and readiness efforts toward ongoing support of day-to-day engineering development center operations and capability-building activities.
