Position Summary:  

Manage supply chain for the designated category of components and commodities to meet the planned manufacturing numbers.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Materials Manager with responsibility for an increased level of spend commodities.
• Planning material/ component requirement through ERP.
• Plan & execute on time delivery, as per requirement received & ensuring supplier meeting organization all quality requirements & related documentation.
• Adherence to production plans.
• Inventory control and improve inventory turns.
• Forecasting long lead time requirements through ERP.
• Managing suppliers for assigned commodities & components.
• Execute continuous improvement projects for example quality improvement, supplier consolidation and standardization.
• Improvement in RK/PK to customers.

Required Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

Mechanical Engineering.

1. ERP knowledge

2. Good interpersonal skills

3. Adaptability

4. Communication skills.

5. Techno commercial knowledge of product.

Certifications : Quality /PPAP certifications preferred.

Travel: Sometimes as per requirement.

Language:English, Hindi
