Senior Enablement Manager
Red Hat | Field & Partner Learning
About the job
Our team is growing! We're looking for a Senior Enablement Manager who can help shape how our sales, technical sales and partner teams develop the capabilities they need to succeed.
This isn't just about delivering training. It's about understanding what the business needs, identifying where our field teams can improve, and creating enablement that makes a real difference to how people work — and ultimately how the business performs.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, influence priorities and bring new ideas to life, including how we use AI and digital learning to make enablement more effective, accessible and scalable.
Why you'll love the job
- High visibility: Work directly with business leaders and stakeholders, helping translate strategic priorities into meaningful field action.
- Real business impact: Focus on improving seller capabilities, changing behaviours and contributing to measurable business outcomes.
- Room to innovate: Explore AI, digital learning, simulations and new approaches that move us beyond traditional training.
- Ownership and autonomy: Take responsibility for your programmes, from understanding the business challenge through to execution and measuring impact.
- Great team: Join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where ideas are welcomed and your contribution helps shape our direction.
What the day-to-day looks like
- Working with business stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges and capability gaps.
- Designing and leading enablement initiatives that help our field teams perform better.
- Bringing together SMEs, learning designers, business leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Creating engaging learning experiences through AI, digital content, practice, coaching and learning in the flow of work.
- Using data, feedback and business performance measures to understand what's working and where we need to improve.
- Building strong relationships across the business to ensure enablement is adopted, applied and reinforced.
The role
As a Senior Enablement Manager, you'll shape and deliver enablement programmes aligned to Red Hat's business strategy and revenue goals.
You'll act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into field capabilities, learning experiences and measurable outcomes.
This is an individual contributor role that combines strategic consulting, hands-on programme leadership and the ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Business alignment and consulting: Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, diagnose capability gaps and translate priorities into actionable enablement plans.
- Programme ownership and execution: Lead the design, development and delivery of enablement programmes, coordinating SMEs, facilitators and cross-functional teams.
- Learning experience design: Design and build scalable learning experiences using digital, social and experiential methods, including videos, job aids, simulations, AI role-play, skills assessments and coaching.
- Behaviour change and adoption: Develop approaches that support field readiness, practical application and sustained behaviour change, including manager reinforcement.
- Measurement and impact: Define success measures, track adoption and capability development, analyse data and demonstrate progress against business objectives.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships across Red Hat, communicate progress, risks and outcomes, and influence alignment and sponsorship.
- Innovation and continuous improvement: Explore and apply new technologies, learning approaches and AI capabilities to improve effectiveness and scalability.
- Quality and execution: Ensure high-quality, timely delivery, applying Red Hat standards and continually improving programmes through feedback and performance data.
How we'll measure success
- Business alignment: Enablement priorities and outcomes clearly connected to stakeholder objectives.
- Field adoption and application: Evidence that targeted audiences are using and applying new skills, tools and behaviours.
- Capability improvement: Measurable growth in proficiency, confidence and readiness across priority capabilities.
- Business impact: Demonstrated progress against agreed leading indicators and relevant business performance measures.
- Programme effectiveness: Quality of delivery, learner experience, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder confidence: Strong partnerships, effective communication and demonstrated value to business leaders.
