Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking aSenior Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution architecture and drive key architecture components across complex transformation programs, bringing strong application, integration, infrastructure, security and data architecture expertise to support enterprise-wide platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture or key solution architecture components as required
• Apply strong application and integration architecture experience alongside knowledge in infrastructure, security or data architecture
• Produce required design artifacts, independently or as part of a tribe
• Present to the C&CB TDA or Bank's Architecture Review Board when necessary and engage with key partners in the enterprise architect function and across the business
• Provide technical design leadership to squad or squads assigned
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, regulatory obligations, operational resilience needs and strategic direction
• Design and sequence integration architectures across event-driven services, batch interfaces and secure file transfer mechanisms, as well as assist with API design
• Define data migration, data quality and data cleansing approaches to support successful platform implementation
• Collaborate with other engineering functions, including integration and data factories, information security, build, test and release
• Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt associated with complex transformation programs

Requirements

• 7+ years of strong solution design experience
• Experience working across customer channels, operational platforms, core systems and enterprise data services
• Expertise in integration architecture across APIs, microservices and MQ or file-based integrations
• Experience designing solutions spanning both legacy estate and modern cloud-based platforms
• Familiarity with bank processes, e.g. DEX, ADF, ISR, Service Transition

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Corporate & Retail FX products
• Background in Capital Markets business
• Familiarity with Coconet Multi: Versa or Murex MX.3
