Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Provide clinical services to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the Program of Assistance for Students (PAS) clients who are self- or supervisory and referred for assistance with personal problems and needs.
  • This position will also provide other employee and student assistance services. (e.g., wellness presentations).
  • Maintain notes within EPIC system.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Children.
  • Experience working with Couples.
  • Clinical experience and or specialized training.
  • LPC Associate or LPC Trainee Preferred.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website athttps://app4.ttuhsc.edu/payplan.

Jeanne Clery Act

  • Position Description: Provides counseling services to assigned clients to identify personal and interactive problems, and to achieve effective adjustment. 
  • Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in a mental health field.  Currently licensed by the state of Texas to provide mental health counseling services.
