Role SummaryÂ

Join NXP's ACC CTO EMC/ESD team and help shape the robustness of next-generation semiconductor products. As an EMC Design Engineer, you will contribute to the development of innovative EMC solutions that enable First-Pass-Right products, ensuring compliance, reliability, and system robustness while optimizing performance, silicon area, and cost.Â
Working alongside technology, design, validation, and system experts, you will gain hands-on experience in EMC modeling, simulation, characterization, and product development across a broad range of semiconductor applications.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Support the definition and implementation of EMC design concepts for integrated circuits.Â
- Perform EMC simulations, analysis, and validation to ensure compliance with product requirements.Â
- Contribute to the design and optimization of on-chip EMC solutions and interference mitigation techniques.Â
- Develop and apply EMC methodologies, design guidelines, and best practices.Â
- Collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development cycle.Â
- Support EMC characterization, silicon debug, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.Â
- Contribute to First Pass-Right product robustness while balancing performance, reliability, area, and cost.Â
- Participate in advanced EMC modeling, automation, and future technology innovation initiatives.Â
- Support technical investigations related to EMC performance and customer requirements.Â
- Share knowledge through documentation, training, and continuous improvement activities.Â

QualificationsÂ
Education: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.Â
Technical Skills:Â
- Basic understanding of semiconductor devices and integrated circuit design.Â
- Initial experience or academic exposure to EMC/EMI modeling, simulation, or measurements.Â
- Familiarity with EMC standards, qualification methods, and laboratory testing.Â
- Knowledge of circuit simulation and EDA design tools.Â
- Interest in silicon characterization, debugging, and failure analysis.Â
