Embedded Software Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Cary, NC |Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: 1st shift, 8 AM–5 PM (flexible); 10% travel, local driving and possible factory visits.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of embedded software development experience.

• BS in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Programming experience inC and MATLAB/Simulink.

• Knowledge of embedded operating systems, hardware integration, and drivers.

• Experience with CAN/J1939 communication protocols.

• Experience with software requirements, Agile development, code reviews, unit testing, and functional testing.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for turf and compact utility tractors.

• Analyze software requirements and maintain feature-level software architecture across vehicle models.

• Implement features, resolve defects, conduct code reviews, and validate software on vehicle platforms.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software.
