Pay Range: $45 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Wi-Fi radio configurations across Qualcomm, Broadcom, and Atheros chipsets for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands.
  • Implement and debug Wi-Fi features including band steering, client steering, and channel selection.
  • Work with hostapd/wpa_supplicant configurations and develop OpenSync Wi-Fi managers for cloud-managed radio configuration.
  • Debug Wi-Fi driver crashes and firmware asserts, ensuring high performance and interoperability.
  • Implement phone-as-backhaul connectivity and manage WAN outage detection frameworks.
  • Design and debug embedded C software for Linux-based residential gateway platforms.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams, QA, and service provider partners to resolve field issues.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Embedded C programming and Linux/Operating Systems.
  • 5+ years of expertise in Wi-Fi standards and networking protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of 5G/LTE technology.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi routers, cable modems, CMTS, OpenWrt, OpenSync, or RDK-B is preferred.
