The Los Angeles, CA office of BWE is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Senior Financial Analystwho will providesupport to the Commercial Real Estate Production Team in all aspects ofdebt, equity and structured finance origination and project consulting.This position supportsmultiplecommercial real estate mortgage bankers (producers) responsible for financing of multifamily, industrial, retail,office and hospitality assets.  Thisis including but not limited to providing debt for clients from sources such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, Life Insurance, CommercialMortgage Backed Securities, Debt Funds, Pension Funds, and Commercial Bank real estate loan transactions. 
Major Responsibilities:Â
The preliminary screening,detailedunderwriting analysis, cash flow projections and structuring of lending/investment opportunitiesÂ
Reviewing financial and due diligence materials provided by clients for their assetand help ensure needed information for preliminary loan analysis is receivedÂ
Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a transaction including market analysis and reviewing comparable propertiesÂ
Prepare loan packages, presentations, and submissions to lenders/investorsÂ
PrepareFannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting,submissions and documentsÂ
Analyze and provide solutions for all unforeseen issues arising during the loan placementÂ
Assist in managing thetimely receipt, review and delivery of all third-party reports and documentsÂ
Determiningviable loan executions and financing alternatives for customersÂ
Determining potential new opportunity leads and sourcing contact informationÂ
Support the establishment and maintenance of a contact database of borrowers, lenders, brokers, and others in the commercial real estate and finance industry.Â
Assist with maintenance of office pipeline reportsÂ
Attend real estate industry trade functionsÂ
​Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of two -five years of experience in a commercial (not just multifamily) real estate mortgage loan production office or equivalentÂ
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Finance, or equivalent education and related trainingÂ
An advanced degree is a plus.Â
Strong analytical skills as well as ability tothink outside the box and provide solutions and optionalityÂ
In-depth knowledge of the income producing real estate including knowledge of local/regional/national real estate markets, real estate construction, and all forms of debt and equity and their common structuresÂ
Ability to evolve with the changing environmentand capital marketsÂ
Excellent organizational skills and drive to succeedÂ
Ability to organize, direct and motivate othersÂ
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesÂ
Maturity and self-confidence to simultaneously handle a variety of assignmentsÂ
Ability to work harmoniously with the team as well as internal/external workers/customersÂ
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
Proven self-starterÂ
Demonstratedproficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software productsÂ
Ability to travel, occasionally overnightÂ
Prior history of working in a high-volume, fast paced, loan production office preferredÂ
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90k to $105k annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
