Electrical Superintendent (Michigan Master Electrician)

A DAY IN THE LIFE 

• Managing teams of self-performcrews and any subcontractors that may beassisting 

• Tracking and controlling the costs and schedule of the project at the field level 

• Responsible for overall safety of personnel within the scope of work 

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the fieldin a timely manner  

• Providing regular coaching and feedback to Assistant Superintendents and Forepersons  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

• Must be a current Michigan resident and possess a Michigan Master Electrician License

• Self-perform Substation construction experience up to 345kV 

• 5 years’ experience supervising self-perform construction crews 

• Progressive view on both safety practices and program implementation 

• Ability to review the bid package for accuracy, completion, and electrical scope 

• Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical, and Drug Test 

• Willingness to Travel andrelocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations) 

WHAT WILL SET YOUAPART 

• Managementoverseeing substation subcontractors 

• Experience coordinating with transmission operators and grid ISO’s 

• Proficiency in areas suchasT-Line,inter-connect systems, switchgear installations,and HV collection/distribution systems 

• Electrical Licenses (Journeyman, Master, etc.) 

• Four-year degree in a constructionor engineeringrelated field
