- Estimate electrical scopes involving medium- and low-voltage power distribution and other industrial electrical systems.
- Evaluate instrumentation, controls, and related electrical scopes as required by individual projects.
- Solicit, analyze, and compare vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure complete scope coverage.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, constructability concerns, and potential project risks before bid submission.
- Evaluate project schedules, Client requirements, sequencing, overtime, and other factors that may affect labor productivity and cost.
- Develop pricing for alternate approaches, value engineering opportunities, and constructability recommendations.
- Coordinate closely with operations, project management, procurement, and field leadership during bid development.
- Lead internal estimate reviews and prepare supporting bid and proposal documentation.
- Maintain estimating standards, historical cost information, and labor productivity data.
- Compare estimated costs and labor assumptions against completed project performance to improve future estimates.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, equipment schedules, and other construction documents.
- Strong understanding of Client planning, project schedules, construction sequencing, and productivity factors.
- Ability to recognize incomplete scope, constructability concerns, and financial risk during the estimating process.
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and construction standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and electrical estimating software.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of how electrical projects are executed in the field, not simply how they are estimated.
- 10+ years of progressive electrical construction estimating experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an Estimating Manager, Lead Estimator, Senior Estimator, or comparable senior-level estimating professional.
- Experience estimating large, complex electrical construction projects.
- Background supporting industrial, manufacturing, energy, mission-critical, or similarly complex construction environments strongly preferred.
- Experience with design-build, design-assist, or other collaborative preconstruction delivery methods preferred.
- Previous responsibility for leading, mentoring, or developing estimating personnel.
- Field electrical construction experience or significant knowledge of electrical field operations is highly desirable.
