Scope:
- Provide electrical design support forcustom industrial machinery by producing production-ready electrical documentation and control panel designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developelectrical schematics and panel layouts.
- Createwiring diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Select appropriateelectrical hardware.
- Update and maintainlegacy electrical documentation.
- Support compliance withUL508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards.
- Coordinate withControls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
- Strong experience withAutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience withmachine control system design.
- Knowledge ofPLC I/O, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits.
- Experience working in anETO (Engineer-to-Order) environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation.
- UL508A and NFPA 79.
- Plastics extrusion or converting industry experience.
- Industrial automation and machine safety experience.
