EHR Optimization Specialist :: Hybrid at Raleigh, NC

Seeking for an EHR Optimization Specialist to support the implementation and expansion of Medicaid data exchange services. Focus on improving Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) data capture and onboarding early adopters. Translate program needs into technical requirements, support data integration, and enhance data quality and interoperability. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, guide testing, and ensure secure and accurate data connections.

Expected Skills:

• Able to work successfully with guidance on simple to medium complexity tasks.
• Transitioning to digital quality measures (dQMs).
• Improving HRSN data exchange.
• Enhancing care management data sharing.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5 years of experience in Healthcare IT & EHR Operations, supporting healthcare systems, analytics, technical support, and EHR workflows.
• 3 years of experience with SQL & Reporting, including advanced SQL, relational databases, BI dashboards, and data analysis for healthcare reporting.
• 3 years of experience in Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering, including documentation, process analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design.
• 3 years of experience with Healthcare Data Standards & Compliance, including knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• 3 years of experience in Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration, including translating technical concepts, managing priorities, and effective teamwork.
