HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist (LATAM) – Global Wave Group 

Location: Albany, Auckland (Office based) 

Working hours:9A.M.-5:30 P.M. from Monday to Friday 

Reports to:Head of IT 

Role Purpose 

The HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist willbe responsible for supporting our growing team across Latin Americaandmanaging the full recruitment lifecycle and employee onboarding process for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets. 

The ideal candidate is passionate about people, has excellent communication skills, and is fluent inEnglish, Spanish, and Portuguese. You will work closely with hiring managers to attract top talent while ensuring a smooth and professional employee experience from recruitment through onboarding. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Recruitment 

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for positions across Latin America. 

• Source, screen, andidentify qualified candidates through various recruitment channels. 

• Conduct initial interviews in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

• Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment records.

• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

2. HR Administration

• Prepare employment contracts and otheronboarding documentation.

• Coordinate pre-employment checks and required documentation.

• Manage the employee onboarding process, ensuring all new hires are fully prepared for their first day.

• Maintainaccurate employee records and HR documentation.

• Assist with HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

3. Training & Employee Support

• Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding training.

• Coordinate induction programs and ongoing training sessions.

• Support employees during their onboarding period and answer HR-related questions.

• Work closely with managers to ensure successful integration of new employees.

4. General HR Support

• Assist with HR projects and process improvements.

• Support employee engagement initiatives.

• Perform other HR and recruitment duties asrequired.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, ora related field.

• 2+ years of experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources.

• Fluent inEnglish, Spanish, and Portuguese (written and spoken).

• Experience conducting interviews in multiple languages.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  

Desirable 

• Experience recruiting across Latin America.

• Experience working in an international environment.

• Knowledge of employment practices across LATAM countries.

• Previous experience in the financial services, fintech, or online trading industry.
