We are currently recruiting for aRelief Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at a prestigious4-star hotel in Ambleside. This role is available for animmediate start and is ideal for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Due to the location and shift requirements, applicantsmust live within a commutable distance of Ambleside and have their own transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms to 4-star hotel standards.

• Changing bed linen, making beds, and replenishing guest amenities.

• Cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring all rooms are presented to a high standard.

• Maintaining cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and staff areas as required.

• Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or lost property to management.

• Eng all housekeeping equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly.

• Following hotel health & safety procedures and infection control standards.

• Supporting the wider housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests.

• Delivering excellent attention to detail to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.

• Physically fit and able to carry out the demands of a housekeeping role.

• Must be within a commutable distance of Ambleside.

• Own transport is essential.
