Key duties and responsibilities

• Reasons for position: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into insightful and visually appealing dashboards and reports that drive business decisions. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, report creation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualification and Experience

• 1. Report Development and Visualization:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs and align with stakeholders' requirements.
• 2. Data Preparation and Transformation:
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
  • Optimize data models for performance and usability in Power BI.
• 3. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical support to users for Power BI-related tasks.
• 4. Data Integration and Connectivity:
  • Connect Power BI to diverse data sources like SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Ensure secure and reliable data connections.
• 5. Quality Assurance:
  • Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy in reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• 6. Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor and enhance dashboard performance.
  • Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices, implementing new functionalities to improve reporting

Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and visualization.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modelling).
• Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and workflows.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
