Avanade isseeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead our growth in Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader with a strongtrack record in business development, consulting, and Microsoft technology solutions to shape andgrow a new market. 

You are a deal hunter, originator, and self-starter who thrives in a complex consulting environment.You’llbe responsible for building our presence, winning strategic deals, andestablishing Avanade as a trusted digital transformation partner in Malaysia.

With the vision of SEA, Avanade is looking to have a Country Manager who would seed the growth for Malaysia in building Microsoft Solutions. Together we do what matters. 

 
Key Accountabilities 
 
Market Growth & Strategy 

Drive Avanade’s growth strategy in Malaysia, focusing on Microsoft-based solutions across industries. 

Business Development 

Identify, originate, and lead high-value transformation deals. Manage full sales cycles and close complex consulting engagements. 

Client & Partner Engagement 

Build strong relationships with clients and partners, including Microsoft and other system integrators, to drive joint go-to-market initiatives. 

Sales Leadership 

Develop and manage a robust pipeline. Lead the creation of proposals, statements of work, and contracts. 

Thought Leadership 

Represent Avanade in the market, positioning the brand as a leader in digital innovation and enterprise transformation. 

Team Building 

Seed and grow a high-performing local team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.

Strong understanding of the Malaysia market and enterprise landscape. 

-Proven success in business development and sales leadership in consulting or technology services. 

-Demonstrated ability to influence C-level stakeholders and close complex deals. 

-Experience working with Microsoft and multi-partner ecosystems. 

-Ability to navigate ambiguity, remove roadblocks, and deliver results in a startup-like environment 

-University degree, advanced degree preferred 

-15+ years of managerial experience 
-Experience in growing and leading a large scale, highly profitable technology services business, preferably within an international environment
